Preparing for your court date at the Bellevue Court:
Your first court date at the King County District Court in Bellevue will be called an Arraignment. In some cases an Arraignment may have already happened before you were released from jail. Arraignment is the court date where the defendant enters a "plea" of either guilty or not guilty. It is advisable to always enter a plea of not guilty to a criminal charge. This is because at the Bellevue court arraignment you will not yet have had an opportunity to review all the evidence in the case with an attorney.
