This year police in many Cities around the Seattle area have conducted "Minor Prostiution" or "Attempted Commercial Sexual Abuse of a Minor" stings. Cities like: Kent, Bellevue, Renton and Seattle have been conducting these "John Operations."  Different websites have been used due to the closing of www.backpage.com law enforcement has been even more aggressive in using adult dating sites to conduct these operations.

In the City of Renton police conducted a sting operation that concluded in the arrest of 12 men. Additionally, 58 year old Timothy Brickell was arrested and is a softball coach in Woodinville. This specific sting was conducted on www.onlinebootycall.com.

These stings were conducted on or around April 16, 2019.
