Seattle Kidnapping

After the September 6th kidnapping incident in Parkland, Washington, the defendant is being held on a $2.5 million bail. A man is accused of holding people hostage after entering an auto repair shop and demanding a car with gas. The man entered the shop with a rifle and a handgun.

After entering the shop, the man throated to kill four people in the office. Three of the victims escaped and a fourth ran while the man reloaded his gun. The man fired at police and was subsequently struck by a bullet from an officer.

The man is facing 11 criminal counts including kidnapping, assault and robbery. The case is pending in Pierce County Superior Court.
