Based on the study conducted by WalletHub, the following are some fast facts about 2017 Washington State DUIs:

-Did you know that Washington is the 15th strictest state for DUI patrol and penalties?

-Washington is also included in the all but six states that can automatically suspend the license of someone arrested for a DUI before any court proceedings.

-The most common license suspension in Washington for a first time DUI is 90 days.

-88% of states, including Washington, require those that have been arrested for a DUI the mandatory use of an Ignition Interlock Device.

-Washington and 37 other states require an alcohol abuse assessment and course that is mandatory.

-In only 5 states a DUI conviction stays on your record for life. This includes Washington State which does not allow the expungement of a DUI offense from your record no matter how many years have passed.
